From ICS Liverpool to Ware UK

Established in 1965 as ICS Liverpool, our main focus of business was supplying the bustling Liverpool docks and shipyards with our vast array of hygiene and janitorial products. This was a period in Liverpool history where we were one of the busiest port cities in the country, the Beatles were flying the flag in America (and around the world), and when both Liverpool & Everton FC were dominating English football. Over the following years, we expanded into the healthcare and education sectors with both our expertise and product range seeing high demand. In late 90's and early 00's we saw our transition into the digital age with the development of our very own ICS Liverpool website. This was also a period in our history where we broke into the hospitality industry, not just with our chemical and janitorial ranges, but expanding our offering with crockery, glassware, food packaging, and more after joining the Socius Network in 2012, a buying group allowing us to a broad our horizons. 

 

Now in our third generation of being a family owned and operated company, we decided that the ICS Liverpool brand had become outdated and a need for a fresh, new brand that reflected our target market come to the fore. In 2020 we rebranded as Ware UK, a name that simply states what we offer - janitorial and catering ware used every day by companies in healthcare, education, facilities management and in hospitality. We are now one of the leading distributors in the Northwest, with 25,000 products and high quality customer service.
